Now at first, that might strike you as a little odd.

Why would a small city of fewer than 100,000 residents be the best place to live for singles in the entirety of the US?

According to Money Magazine is claims Asheville is small yet boasts a wealth of entertainment options including 94 bars and breweries as well as 3,000+ miles of hiking trails, has high-quality food and an abundance of restaurants, and boasts major companies like TD Bank, GE Power, and Michelin North America. It has a ton of job opportunities and like much of North Carolina is growing rapidly.

Another feather in Asheville’s dating scene is its gender ratio. If you’re a female younger than 24 you have plenty of men to choose from as you’re outnumbered with 105 males for every 100 females. That however changes after the age of 24.
