Looking for cute things to say to your girlfriend?
You’ve probably heard that — when it comes to a relationship — letting a girlfriend know how you feel about her goes far beyond lip service. You want to show a woman how you feel about her rather than simply say it. This is true, but that doesn’t mean that talk is cheap when it comes to keeping the spark alive in your relationship.
If you have trouble expressing yourself verbally in a relationship, or simply want some cute sayings to add to your arsenal when it comes to letting that special someone know just how much she means, take a look below for 50 cute things to say to your girlfriend.
This is basically a more creative way of doing the typical “You look nice compliment.” It lets your girlfriend know that you think she’s beautiful in a “HOT DAMN” sort of way, which is going to set her heart aflutter.
Forget the whole “you complete me” line (sorry not sorry, Tom Cruise). When it comes to compliments, let your girlfriend know how she is complementary to your character rather than your “other half” or someone who is responsible for making you a whole person.
You don’t want to feel codependent in a relationship or put someone on a pedestal. But you want to let them know that being in your relationship helps you become the best version of yourself. Feeling this and then verbalizing it is extremely meaningful.
Once you’re at the L-bomb stage of a relationship, letting her know that you love her doesn’t get old. Trust me.
Smiling is good for the mind and soul, and letting her know she lights up your face is always a good thing. It’s particularly cute and meaningful if you let her know that, even when she isn’t around, the thought of her keeps your frown turned upside down.
See what I did there?
It’s always good to infuse some humor — when applicable — into your comments when waxing poetic about your girlfriend. This encourages playfulness in your relationship, which is an important part of maintaining chemistry and intimacy in a relationship.
Men, listen up. PAY ATTENTION to what your girlfriend does with her hair, clothes, makeup, and the like. It may not matter to you or seem like something that is significant, but things like straightening/curling hair, contouring makeup perfectly and achieving an amazing smokey eye take time and skill.
Throw in a comment about it once in a while and I promise it will be very appreciated.
An ideal partnership is one where you both feel like you’re on the same team, supporting each other through the good times and bad. Whether it’s an achievement she makes at work, being successful at a new hobby or standing up for herself, let her know you’re proud of her, and she should do the same for you. Don’t overuse this line – if you do, you’ll end up a partental figure to her.
This is always a cute thing to say to your girlfriend and also reminds the both of you that you don’t always need an anniversary, holiday, or any other type of special occasion to let each other know how much you mean.
Women — and, well, everyone — enjoy hearing about their physical beauty, but it’s important to make sure you don’t limit your compliments to superficial elements. Letting a woman know you appreciate her for all of her qualities will make her feel special.
This is another comment that should be posed playfully, with a wink and a smile to celebrate a girlfriend’s success at work or otherwise.
It can be easy to fall into a routine once you’re past the honeymoon phase in a relationship and have been together for a while. Always be careful to not lose the spontaneity in your relationship. A surprise date night can be the perfect way to show her you love her and keep the spark alive.
It’s wonderful to have a partner in crime, as long as said “crime” is in the proverbial sense. Nothing kills the mood like spending a night in jail. This line is sure to make her laugh.
You can follow that up with…
Always remember your girlfriend’s birthday…ALWAYS.
This cute saying is geared toward all of you The Hangover fans.
This one never gets old. One of the top sweet things to say to your girlfriend…. period.

You’re basically just proving yourself to be true husband material by saying things like this.
FYI, if you’ve never tried the 10-mile beast known as a Tough Mudder, I highly recommend it whether you are single or in a relationship. Yes, it’s a challenge, but the reward of accomplishment and the experience leaves you feeling like you can conquer anything. It’s a great way to empower yourself if you’re single and to enhance the bond between you and a partner if you’re in a relationship.
Even if you feel intimidated by the prospect of meeting or hanging out with your girlfriend’s family, being open to them and showing that you care about those relationships is extremely meaningful.
FACT: Cute animals make everything better. If you haven’t, consider taking your girlfriend to a Yappy Hour to hang out with some cute, adoptable pups (WARNING: This could lead to you and her wanting to take five dogs home, especially if craft beers are in the mix). You can also check out things like Doga (yoga with dogs), Cat Yoga or Cat Cafes if you and she are fans of felines.
In relationships, it’s always heartening to be with someone who allows you to have autonomy and nights without the other person. Trust is an integral part of a relationship.
#RelationshipGoals to the max!
One thing that separates a serious relationship from infatuation or a relationship based on lust is that there is an element of friendship within the relationship. Letting your girlfriend know that she is not just a person you’re romantic with, but someone you have a friendship with shows her how meaningful the relationship is to you.
I always recommend to my clients to craft compelling date ideas that use a TDL in order to increase their matches and eventually find a long-term, compatible partner.
A compelling date is one that provides the woman you’re taking out with a brand new experience that is based on her personality and interests. For example, if she’s into art exhibits or eclectic artworks, taking her to an exhibit that displays stuff from an artist that she is interested in but hasn’t seen before would be a great idea.
A TDL is an acronym that stands for Time, Date and Location, and it is what we here at EmLovz refer to as a date’s call-to-action. When you use TDL, it’s extremely considerate because it requires you to do all the planning for the date, allowing the girl to simply get ready, show up, and prepare to have an awesome time.
Now, just because you’ve already snagged a woman and are in an exclusive relationship doesn’t mean you no longer have to use TDL or be chivalrous. Using this to craft special experiences for your girlfriend will keep the spark alive and continue to increase the level of intimacy in the relationship.
No one is perfect and, when it comes to relationships, you’re never going to meet someone that fails to annoy you 100% of the time. But part of having a solid foundation and being a compatible partner involves accepting someone for who they are and, moreover, loving the person they are.
Letting your girlfriend know you always want the most authentic version of her is appreciated and will make her swoon.
There is an old adage about love needing to hurt in order for it to be meaningful, but in actuality, nothing could be farther from the truth.
When you refuse to settle for less than a compatible partner, love doesn’t hurt.
I’m not sure if this necessarily falls into the “cute” category, but it’s definitely something that scores big points and is always appreciated.
It can be a sirloin steak or a grilled cheese, depending on your cooking skills. Regardless, it’s always nice to have someone take care of this meal for you, especially after a long day.
Yes, compelling dates and spontaneity are great and important in any relationship. At the same time, we all end up having long and/or stressful days where staying in is essential. Appreciating times when she just feels like curling up with you and pizza can be just as romantic as going out when one or both of you has had an exhausting day.
Cheesy pickup lines in a relationship can be another cute way to add playfulness and solidify your connection.
Again, attention to small details is a big deal because it shows that you are present with her and notice things she does.
This can also be applied to things like “let me get the door for you” or “let me pull that seat out for you.” These little acts of chivalry are always appreciated, whether it’s your first date or you’ve been dating for years.
Like birthdays, be sure that you commit anniversaries to memory. Trust me.
Perfume is expensive. Let her know you appreciate her selection.
Letting her know this is extremely cute and allows her to know that, regardless of how long you have been together, the spark is still stronger than a fireworks display on the Fourth of July for you.
