There are a billion apps you can use to meet your new partner.

From Jdate that targets Jewish singles to The League, which is often called “elitist Tinder” because of its selection process and high-status users.

The one app I recommend all my clients to use is Bumble.

Bumble is what singles use once they graduate from Tinder and want to find a serious partner.

Its claim to fame is its female-first messaging strategy that requires women to message first to start the conversation. Should they not message within 24 hours after the match, the match expires.

It’s for this reason that you have to make your profile super compelling.

The easiest way to do so is with a killer prompt response.

This is a dating app after all.

She doesn’t want to learn about your secret, ambitions, or 5-year-plan on the dating app. For the moment she’s just looking for a guy that seems fun enough to get a beer with.

#5:  Not All Cons Are Bad

Normally I’d advise staying away from conceited statements, but of course, there are exceptions.

One of those exceptions is when what you’re saying is LOL funny.

In all honestly when it comes to dating apps, strutting your stuff is kinda encouraged. I say this because the women swiping through your profile don’t know you worth a damn.

Your job is to make them know that you are worth a damn getting to know.

You do this by listing your achievements and flexing your accomplishments a little bit.

I mean it’s nice to have options and everything but it gets to the point where enough is enough.

A little humor like this will go a long way in convincing her you’re the one she should spend her Friday night with.

But honestly, if it’s a first date you’re taking her out on I’d recommend following these rules:

• Spend less than $10
• During the day (ideally)

#10: A Five Letter Word Starting With L

Singing like Adam Levine is never a con.

Do you have any hidden talents?

Now’s the time to bring them to light.

Tell her all about your ability to hold your breath for 3 minutes, or how fast you can run a 5k, or the fact that you’ve never had a cavity.

It’s the details that will make you more relatable and thus all the more likely to be swiped right on.

What Makes A Great Bumble Prompt Response?

What do most of these responses have in common?

Two things.

1. They’re humorous. Maybe not LOL funny, but they’ll make her smile and think, hmm that’s witty.
2. They’re revealing. As in, they reveal interesting tidbits about one’s personality.

All she wants to know is that you’re human and that you’d probably be a fun person to share a coffee or drink with.

75% of male users don’t show her these qualities.

They simply refuse to write anything worthwhile in their profiles.

Instead, they’ll use cliche lines and say things like, I have no idea what I’m doing here OR Taco and Marg connoisseur. 

Gross.

The Bees of Bumble have heard all these lines before. They provide nothing of value to the conversation. Instead, they make you look like just another guy from Bumble.

Before publishing, you’re going to want to write a few responses.

Take your time, edit, create drafts, and publish something that Nicholas Sparks himself would envy.

That’s the only way to stand out.

About Those Photos Of Yours

Even though Bumble is geared towards more serious and less superficial singles, that doesn’t mean they don’t place great importance on the quality of your photos.

A bathroom selfie is still a bathroom selfie.

It doesn’t matter if you’re looking for a fling or a long-term partner.

Before even writing your Bumble bio you’ll want to pick out some bomb photos. 

Here’s what your 6-photo lineup should include:

1. Close-up headshot
2. Full body shot
3. Sporty shot
4. Animal pic
5. GQ picture
6. Hobby picture

Also, feel free to include a group shot.

Just be sure that group shots are included only after she has a clear understanding of who you are. The worst thing you can do is guess who the profile belongs to.
