But it doesn’t matter what the armchair experts (or real experts) think.

The ladies of Bumble don’t care about those other voices, she wants to hear what the man in front of her has to say about what makes a relationship great.

So what’s your answer?

Look she can’t wait for you to read the best books about romantic relationships and dating before getting back to her, she wants to answer stat!

To help marriage-minded men answer the Bumble prompt, “What makes a relationship great is…” we’ve compiled some of the best responses for you to either steal or get inspired from.

What Makes A Relationship Great Is

Bumble has over 40 prompts for you to choose from allowing users to select up to three prompts.

If you’re looking for a serious relationship, “What makes a relationship great is” should be one of these prompts.

The prompt gives you the chance to spell out just what you think makes a relationship amazing.

But don’t try to out-Esther Esther Perel here.

No need to provide some super serious answer about always putting the other person first and communicating. Sure these aren’t bad answers but they’re kinda basic.

Don’t be afraid to be witty, playful, and even downright silly.

More than anything your goal here is to get swiped right on. The best way to do this is to stand out.

Let me show you how.

1) What Makes A Relationship Great Is… Couples Goals

Even if you’re not dressing as the most famous pop-culture painter around, you still want to paint a picture of what life with you will look like.

The message above could have said, “Looking for someone to dress up with me for Halloween” or “someone that isn’t afraid to be embarrassed with me.”

Instead, this message involves specific visuals and references that give her a detailed picture of what life with you will be like.

It tells her a few things about yourself:

— You’re the type of guy that dresses up with your partner

— You like painting/Bob Ross

— Obviously, you’re a goofball

— You’re high value (because you actually took the time out to write something thoughtful)

You always want to offer an answer that packs a punch without spelling things out for her.

In other words, show don’t tell.

2) That Says It All… Or Doesn’t

Everyone says they like The Office.

Talking about The Office is just about as cliche as talking about tacos, margaritas, or fishing.

Thing is, most people only ever write that they love The Office, nothing more.

The response above references a specific connection that the show’s most beloved characters share. This one reference speaks volumes.

If leveraged correctly references can be impactful and do the talking for you.

They say pictures are worth a thousand words, sometimes references are too.

Just make sure and SPELL Pam correctly, unlike the example above.

3) The Cliche Remix

Guess how many guys have answered this question with a trite response such as, “sacrifice” or “the one.”

Gross right?

So don’t be gross, be fresh.

It doesn’t matter or not if the user above actually needs a kidney.

What’s important is that in less than 150 characters he was able to grab her attention and most likely get the swipe right.

Look guy.

Humor matters.

Sure you might feel compelled to give her a formal answer to such a vital question but you have to realize that’s not exactly what she’s looking for.

She probably could care less if you give her an answer that even Helen Fisher would be proud of.

Make a stranger stop for a second as she’s swiping through the carousel of men that is Bumble and you’ve won her. Now it’s time to get that first date.

4) Before Love You Must Date

50% of all Tinder users have never gone on a date with a match.

I know we’re talking about Bumble here, but you can expect that the percentage is pretty similar when it comes to feminist Tinder.

Dating apps aren’t often used as such.

Most people that log on are never willing to log off.

By that I mean they’ll chat with you online, but when it comes to actually going out they ghost you.

Make your intentions clear from the very beginning.

You’re using this app to meet your next girlfriend, not to boost confidence or busy yourself while laying an egg.

Already pitching a first date is a smart way to not only get a response but to segue into using a TDL to ask her out on a first date.

Not to mention that getting drunk and painting is a freakin’ kick-ass first date idea.

5) What Will Life With You Look Like?

You my friend are a complete unknown.

As it stands you’re just another card in a deck full of unknowns.

So how do you make her feel comfortable and showcase your personality?

The best way to do so is to give her a vivid idea of what life with you would be like.

Here our test user provides her would-be love with the ideal weekly agenda.

It involves trivia, mini-golf, wine, and of course lots of traveling.

Help her imagine what life with you would be like.

Don’t just tell her about your interests but allow her to envision what being your partner might look like.

6) The Perfect Models

After reading the first few words she will either barf or let out an audible, “aww.”

The second sentence however gives this response the edge that it needs. You initially see it veering towards the tone of a Hallmark card before taking a quick turn towards the more vulgar side.

Apart from being fresh and humorous, this card also signals that your parents have a healthy relationship.

That can never be a bad sign when gauging someone’s emotional stability and relationship skills. A quality romantic model can play a big role in how one treats their partner and their attachment style.

7) Now That’s Love

This reference is going to go over the heads of 99% of the women on Bumble.

Here’s the thing, it doesn’t matter.

You’re not on Bumble in the attempt to attract every single user.

Rather, you only want to attract women you’re compatible with. If that means making obscure football references until you find the one you’re looking for so be it.

Sure the pool is deep but you’re not just fishing for any fishy, you want that one woman that you’re most compatible with, not some guppy.

8) The Change-Up

Here’s another Hallmark card for you.

Well, I mean, it is, until it isn’t.

Perhaps you’re not into Claw if have felt the Claw craze has passed us by.

Whatever your relationship with White Claw might be, the point is that the changeup is always appreciated.

We all know that a quality relationship has trust, laughter, etc. etc. The jarring changeup in tone will be appreciated if you say something integral to a relationship that isn’t the norm and that resonates with her.

9) When In Doubt Throw On A Podcast

Grandmothers everywhere would advise finding someone that you can be with in silence, simply enjoying the other’s presence.

Cool grandmothers however would advise finding someone you can listen to podcasts with in silence.

Penning a quality Bumble prompt response is super important there’s no doubt about that.

The thing is, before a user can even get to your prompt they must scroll past your opening photo.

The question is… will your photo convince her to stick around and read your profile?

Considering men swiped right at least three times as often as women the answer is probably no.

It’s for that reason we must devote a least a few sentences to talking about how to create an amazing roster of photos.

Here are a few things to keep in mind when trying to decide which photos to include in your Bumble profile:

— Never obscure your face with glasses, scarves, or hats

— First photo should be a headshot

— Group shots are welcome but only after the third photo

— Show off your personality by uploading “hobby shots”

— NO SELFIES

— HD pics only

— Make sure every photo offers a unique and new perspective

But wait.

Just because these are the photos you SHOULD upload, doesn’t mean you have them in your library.

Here are some tips on how to take quality photos:

— Use natural lighting

— Make sure the background is quality

— Use a phone or camera that takes high-quality photos

— Smile!

— Snap as many photos as you need. Sometimes you’ll need to take 35 photos just to snap one good one

— If you’re completely lost just hire a professional 

Even if you heed the aforementioned advice you could still wind up with a profile that convinces the majority of women to swipe left.

To ascertain your photos are quality ones you have two options:

— Ask your female friends
