Not only is Bumble a dating app designed for women, by women, but it’s also the app many turn to network and make friends with.

But this isn’t an article about making BFFs.

Rather, you’re here to learn how to get the most out of the most rapidly growing dating app in the world.

One way Bumble sets itself apart is by using Bumble Prompts.

When you sign up you’re required to answer three prompts.

As you can see, Bumble has a ton of prompts:

Today we’re going to focus on the “I’m hoping you…” prompt.

Below you’ll find a list of the best responses to this prompt.

Each response is 100% original. So original we guarantee that if you were to steal it (please steal it) you’d be the only one out of millions of users to have it (unless of course multiple people steal it from this article).

I’m Hoping You Bumble Prompt Examples Answers

The immediate desire is to scribble out a list of the things you want in a partner.

To build the perfect woman and then let the Bumble gods (read; algorithm) find you that person.

This is the wrong way to answer this prompt.

Instead of telling her all the things you hope she is, instead, use the prompt to talk about yourself.

How many profiles of females have you seen where the user lists out what they’re looking for but never talks about themselves?

Women that write, “No hookups. Want a gentleman that has a job and priorities. Read: NO SCRUBS”

Don’t be this person. Literally, be anyone else but this person.

You know how much you dislike it in other users so don’t do it yourself.

1) Tell Her About Her Future

Everyone wants the ability to look into the future.

We want to know what our lives will look like when we’re older, if we move to a new state, and how we’ll be if we decide to date or marry a certain somebody.

Give her that power to look into the future by telling her what kind of trouble you two will be getting into.

If she swipes right on the guy above she should expect to spend a copious amount of time at the beach, relaxing, and sipping on seltzers.

If that’s a life she wants to live, she’ll slide her finger to the right.

If you’re at a loss for words, just tell her what you’re into. Your hobbies, what you did last weekend, and what you’d like to do moving forward.

2) Cupid Doesn’t Use Arrows Anymore, He Spikes The Homemade Tomato Sauce

Talking about food in your “I’m hoping you” prompt response is never a bad idea.

It’s a great way to start a conversation and move that conversation towards a first date.

I wouldn’t be surprised if a woman responds to the messages above by pronouncing her love for Italian food and men that can cook.

After exchanging a few messages about Italian food, ask for her number, and then use a TDL to ask her to an Italian joint for a first date.

It’s that easy.

3) Tell Her About Her Future

If she’s nerdy (or at least understands that Google is now God) she’ll understand just how much Google knows about us.

Not all women will go for a nerdy joke like this one, but the attempt will be appreciated.

A guy that can make a woman LOL while scrolling through profiles of strangers on a dating app is a winner.

4) Tell Her Who You Are

Whether it’s Bumble or Tinder, your profile is just another card in the deck.

That’s right, you’ve been reduced to nothing more than a card, a virtual romantic resume.

To stand out against a backdrop of millions of men you’ll have to do something few other men will – open up.

You don’t need to discuss your traumas in front of the masses, but you should be slightly vulnerable. Doing so humanizes you. It gives your profile character, color, and a touch of realness.

More than anything she wants to match with a real person. Opening up like this and telling her about your weird little quirks will do just that.

5) Couples That Sing Together Stay Together

Women want to read profiles that feel authentic. Profiles they feel they can reach out and touch as if the person that wrote them were in the room with her (ehh maybe not that close).

The message above is specific and provides an image for her to latch onto.

She can do a lot of things with this image.

For one she can imagine you and her on your way to a bar, winery, etc. blasting Blink 182 or Jimmy Eat World.

It’s images and scenarios like these that you want to create with each and every “I’m hoping you…” Bumble response.

6) Cute Spin On A Cliche Line

Imagine someone asking a woman what she wants in a relationship.

Chances are one of the first things she’ll say is, “I want a man that listens.”

Well, it just so happens that’s what men want too.

This cute spin on a classic line will surely get you one or two swipes right. As long as people know that Alexa is an Amazon product that’s literally always listening, they’ll swipe right.

And ya know what, even if she doesn’t understand, you have at least two more prompts and a bio to strut your stuff. Don’t be afraid to say edgy things and make obscure references. The more specific you get the more specific your target becomes as well. You’re not using Bumble to find women, rather you’re using it to find highly compatible women.

7) The Remix

Be whimsical.

Be weird.

And of course, talk about travel.

Nowadays everyone’s a world traveler and foodie.

There’s nothing with speaking about cliche topics. The issue is when you’re boring about it.

No doubt you’ve all seen the following before written on dating profiles:

— World traveler

— Taco lover

— Craft beer enthusiast

These people might not be basic, but that doesn’t mean they’re getting matches.

You can talk about a cliche topic without appearing cliche.

Use the I’m hoping you prompt response above as inspiration.

8) Flex It Out

You can either seriously flex or bring some levity to your flex.

You can talk about all the degrees you have, professional accomplishments, and cars you have OR you can humble yourself and instead talk about your more banal abilities.

That’s fine if you want to talk about more serious accomplishments and abilities just be humble while doing so.

9) Talk About That First Date

Dating apps aren’t actually dating apps.

They’re “introductory apps.”

They are mediums where you’re able to meet people and learn enough about them to ask them out. They themselves are not built nor meant to be places where individuals actually date.

Virtual dates or dating via text is shallow and should be avoided at all costs.

One way to avoid this is by painting a picture of your first date plans.

10) Date Night Just Got Buttery

Talking about those mundane superpowers, here’s another one.

Use this template to help you create a message akin to this one.

One that jokes about your insanely quotidian skills.

11) Strut Your Stuff

Feel free to show off.

By telling her what you’re hoping for, your message should also reveal who you are and what you offer.

The message above does just that while sounding human.

Imagine if the above message just said, “I’m hoping you dance salsa.”

That sounds pretentious and demanding. The message you see above sounds like it was written by a user not only skilled with his feet but with words as well.

12) What’s Your Ideal Life Look Like?

Show her what her life could look like if she were with you.

Give details like the example above does.

Tell her how you’d spend the perfect day together, what you’d do, and what you’d eat.

Be as specific as possible without mindlessly listing things. Don’t forget that you’re speaking to a human, not an algorithm. Even though we suspect Bumble uses keywords to find you compatible profiles what use is there in finding someone super compatible if once she gets to your profile she swipes left?

13) Tell Her Who You Are

I’ll say this again.

Not everyone will be into going to a baseball game (much less watching it until its death). But that doesn’t mean you should shy away from what you’re into.

If you’re a baseball superfan you might as well be upfront about that. Sure people that don’t like the sport will be weeded away but fanatics will flock to you.

Guys shouldn’t be afraid to broadcast their hobbies regardless of how unpopular they might be.

14) Be Polarizing

As you can see, Dems won’t date Republicans and vice versa.

While Bumble offers a portion of the profile to display one’s political leanings, it’s often skimmed over.

To really make your preferences known you’re going to have to dedicate a prompt to your leanings.

If you’re diametrically opposed to dating someone whose beliefs don’t align with your own it’s best to let the ladies of Bumble know sooner rather than later.

You’d hate to get to a first date only for your politics to clash.

15) Hack Her With Love

Addressing the situation – meeting women online – in a prompt is a good idea if you use tact.

Too many men will come off as desperate when they write about why they’re on the app or the dynamic of chatting with women online. The prompt above uses humor and addresses a timely topic to do just that.

Penning prompt responses germane to the ethos of the dating scene makes your response sound fresh and worth responding to.

16) Be A Manly Paradox

I love a good curveball.

Choose two of your manliest traits (which she’ll love) followed by a less manly trait. This will show her you’re well-rounded, manly but also have a softer and deeper side.

Thank me later!

17) Tell Her About Your New Hobbies

She wants to know that you’re a layered, dynamic human who is always on the move and living life to the fullest. If that translates to learning the piano, then that’s great.

Use this moment to market yourself to the world.

Whatever awesome new hobby or project you have going on, share it!

18) Spoil Her

What women will swipe left to a man that promises to spoil her?

Of course, this kind of Bumble prompt response might attract the wrong kind of woman (i.e. Gold Digger) but you can always invite her to a MegaDating first date and see where things go.

Now it’s time to steal, remix, and start writing.

Don’t feel pressure to create the perfect response to a Bumble prompt in the next five minutes.

Take out a pad and pencil and write down 10-15 responses to each prompt you want to fill out.

Then choose the best answer.
