Dating App Turn-Ons According To Women

Improve your luck online by listening to what turns women on most and incorporating their turns ons into your profile. As you’ll see, most of these turn-ons have to do with a user’s photos. If you don’t know how to take fire photos, read this article on how you can take amazing photos.

Dressing Up And Dressing Down

The modern woman wants a versatile man. One that is multi-faceted, goes to a gala every once in a while, but who also knows how to be himself.

Perhaps that’s why this was the top-rated comment in our TikTok video. A woman wants her man to be many things. But at the very least she doesn’t want him always wearing sweatpants and sitting on the couch. What this comment says most is that women want a man that lives a life of various flavors. A man that goes to weddings and high-society social events, but a guy that isn’t too formal and knows how to enjoy himself.

We’ve long advocated for adding what we call the GQ shot to your profile.

Here’s an example.

The next time you’re off to a wedding, formal social event, or conference, make sure to snap a few picks and throw one up on your Tinder, Bumble, or Hinge.

Filling Out Your Profile

You my friend are a complete stranger. She doesn’t know a damn thing about you. While dating apps have a way of reducing us to a few pithy lines and photos, men often don’t help themselves out. They refuse to use the minimal real estate apps give them.

As you can see women love when guys take the time to create a comprehensive profile.

This is because in order to swipe right and go out with you, they have to have as least an inkling of who you are.

So showcase your personality by writing a dope bio, filling out some prompts, and showing her who you are.

Honesty and Being Genuine

This means not posting contrived photo after another. Maybe you have a bunch of photos taken professionally. Don’t post them all. Women want to go out with real guys that don’t try too hard to get swipes.

I know honesty can be difficult to convey on a dating app. What this really means is that she wants your profile to match up with who you are in real life. If you skateboard and listen to Nirvana she’ll want to see that IRL. She’d be super disappointed to learn you only like Nirvana shirts and skateboarded just once in your life.

This is what this TikTok user is referring to when she says to be honest and genuine.

Clear And Recent Photos

No one wants to be catfished or lied to.

Not to mention doing either one of those things won’t help you in the long run. Imagine for a moment all your photos were taken 7 years ago. They’re amazing because most come from your Eurotrip… not to mention you look a bit younger.

But when she sees you in person you look nothing like your photos, or well you do, just aged by 7 years.

Inevitably she will feel cheated.

It’s okay if you have one photo from five or so years ago as long as you still look like that photo.

Being honest with how you represent yourself will save you and her time in the long run.

Hobby Shots

Again, she doesn’t know a damn thing about you.

To determine whether she wants to invest in you, she has to know who you are. That should be your mentality as well.

Even if your hobbies aren’t super common, posting about them will attract people with similar interests. It doesn’t matter if your hobbies turn some people off, that’s actually a good thing. Ideally only women you’re compatible with a swipe right. Hobby shots can be used to attract compatible women while deterring women you’re not compatible with.

The next time you’re playing basketball, skiing, slaying it in Catan, or whatever your go-to hobby is be sure to ask a friend to snap a few photos.

Tell Her What You’re Looking For

Some apps make it easier than other to tell women what you’re looking for.

Bumble for one requires users to tell users what they’re looking for and displays the results at the top of the profile. Paying users can even search via what a user is looking for.

Apps like Hinge also offer this option. Tinder for example doesn’t but you can easily write in your bio the type of relationship you’re interested in having.

Even if the app allows you to choose the relationship you want, feel free to reiterate via a prompt response or in your bio.

Show Your Weird Side

Women tend to see the same types of profiles over and over.

She doesn’t want to see just another boring profile. Rather, she wants something unique, something that catches her eye.

Like I was saying before, tell her how you’re unique. Women have seen the same photos over and over and want something new. Even if your weird side scares some women off, it’ll attract others.

Be Real And Show Her Your Day-to-Day Life

Women want to date real people.

But until you’re off the app she won’t know you real. That’s because online you’ve been reduced to just another card in a deck full of profiles.

A major dating app turn on is when a woman can imagine who you are in real life.

Getting this across is difficult but possible.

To do so:

• Use casual photos
• Write a bio or respond to prompts in a way that sounds natural and captures your voice

When she says be real she also means taking clear photos.

Convincing her you’re real is easy when you take clear photos that clearly show what you look like.

We recommend your first photo be a close-up headshot whereas your second should be full body shot. That way, right off the bat she knows exactly what you look like.

Something like this should be just fine.

Fun, Light Bio

Bumble and Hinge have a wealth of prompts to choose from and require users to fill out a few. Prompts are awesome because they give you another chance to show her who you are.

The issue is when these responses are taken too seriously. When you provide one or two-word answers that have zero levity.

Below is an example of a profile that offers nothing. Even if it’s 100% true it won’t endear you to her.

Here’s a much better profile.

I’m overly competitive about… billiards, hot dog eating, winning over every dog’s affection, finding the best sunset spots, and setting up amazing first dates.

When in doubt, be specific and write more than 10 or so words. Also, use humor when possible

Photos That Don’t Obscure Your Face

This one isn’t a dating app turn-on as much as it’s a no-no.

If you’re going to bother to post photos stick to photos that show your face.

As you can see women really want to know what you look like.

And why not?

Be honest, would you go out with a woman if you didn’t know what she looked like?

Avoid covering your face in any way. That means not using scarves, glasses, sunglasses, hats, masks, or anything else that obscures your face.

Ditch The Fish

If you want to catch one on a dating app, don’t showcase your catch from the ocean.

There are a few reasons for this.

For one, fishing is a man’s sport. Women could care less about fishing.

And reason two, so so many guys post photos of them holding their new catch. By this point it’s cliche. As cliche as talking about margs, tacos, or The Office — all of which you should exclude from your profile.

These are all major dating apps turn-offs to avoid.

Dating App Turn-Ons: A Funny Bio

As we’ve mentioned so many men refuse to even write a bio. If you are going to write one make sure to inject a bit of wit and humor.

Remember not to take dating apps too seriously. Sure you want to meet someone but acknowledge that dating apps are inherently weird and that humor makes them just a bit less weird.
