WalletHub’s perennial list of the best cities for singles in the USA ranked Chicago as the 6th best of over 200 cities. Each city was ranked in three areas. Chicago ranked particularly high in the “fun and recreation” category. This category took a number of factors into account such as the city’s number of attractions, restaurants per capita, parks per capita, nightlife options per capita, number of music festivals, safety and more.

When it comes to first, second, and third date ideas Chicago has got plenty of offer. It boasts popular options such as the wine igloos at the City Winery, a legit tiki bar, or Burt’s Place for deep dish pizza. A “nice” day is one that has a high temperature between 65-85 F, has a peak daily wind gust of less than 25 mph, and an average daily cloud cover that’s less than 65%.

The Windy City is known for, well, being windy, but also for being gelid in the winter, warm in the summer, and moderate in the spring and fall. When it comes to dating in Chicago be prepared to hit up your fair share of coffee shops, pizza parlors, and ax throwing establishments.
