10 “A Non-Negotiable…” Bumble Prompt Responses for Guys Looking for LTR’s

10 “A Non-Negotiable…” Bumble Prompt Responses for Guys Looking for LTR’s

Bumble has dozens of features all aimed at helping you stand out.

It allows you to post six photos, verify your profile, include up to five interests, link to your Spotify, write a bio, and add a number of other data points that offer granular details about your life.

But if you were to open the app and scroll through a user’s profile, the feature that takes up the second most digital real estate is Bumble Prompts.

Bumble Prompts are used to highlight your personality, signal your interests, and help you stand out.

While it may be a nuisance to fill out three prompts with detailed responses, doing so will really make your profile stand out.

There’s a reason they take up about half your profile. Bumble knows the importance of using prompts to help humanize yourself and connect with strangers.

So what’s the best way to respond to these prompts?

Let’s show you how to let your personality shine through when we provide examples for the “A non-negotiable…” Bumble Prompt.

The best responses are granular, offer up details about yourself, and will make her see you as a complex, interesting person worthy of spending the rest of her life with — or at least worthy of a swipe right.

So what does this look like in practice?

Here are ten examples of a non-negotiable… Bumble Prompt.

1) Talk About Your/Her Future

a non-negotiable bumble

At this point she knows nothing about you.

You’re just another card in a deck of literally thousands.

With seven men for every three female Bumble users, she can be patient and take her time in picking someone to swipe right on. To convince her you’ll have to really stand out. Do so by painting a picture of your shared future.

What does it look like?

Include your hobbies, interests, values, and whatever else you think would paint an accurate picture. This prompt response not only paints that picture but is a new take on the American dream. Two kids, a picket fence, and yearly trips to the most out-there festival in the world aren’t what our parents would have fantasized about, but it’s our time to be adults and live the life we want to live.

Allow her to really see your shared future.

2) Invite Her Out

A Hinge study a while back found that male users that posted a photo of them with their dog far outperformed the average photo.

There’s just something about a man and his best friend that make women go nuts.

If women love to see it in photos they’re going to love to read about it in Bumble prompts as well. If you both have dogs, a low-stakes, cheap, and easy first date is to hit the dog park. Chances she already goes on occasion – and typically does so alone. Invite her to the park and be sure to bring something intoxicating to drink as you two enjoy yourselves while giving your dogs a chance to get out of the house.

This a great first date idea because it gives you two something to discuss as opposed to a dinner date that doesn’t lend itself to conversation.

I also love this prompt response because it’s already asking a woman out. Dating apps should be used to meet women in the real world as opposed to merely racking up matches online.

3) What Are You Into?

Too many men use these prompts to list out all the things they want in a woman. What they don’t realize is that these responses should and often do say more about who we are than what we’re looking for.

With that said, you should be willing to list out your preferred hobbies – even if they’re uncommon.

Sure, most women don’t play volleyball and may not care to. That’s fine. You want to attract a woman that shares your interests rather than one that swipes right despite having nothing in common with you.

Not to mention that just because she might actively participate in your uncommon interest doesn’t mean she wouldn’t be up to trying or is turned off by your interest.

4) Tell It Like It Is

Not every response needs to be so dramatic.

Sure we’re talking about non-negotiables, but when you’re scrolling through a stranger’s profile you don’t want to be bogged down by a litany of serious non-negotiables.

Serious non-negotiables turn women off before they get a chance to know you.

Your goal with the a non-negotiable Bumble prompt is to convince her to swipe right on your profile AND to message you. Remember that the only way conversations start on Bumble is if the woman initiates them.

Men aren’t given the capability of messaging first.

5) Get Your Groove On

Music is an easy way to quickly bond with a stranger.

One of my students loves telling me how he always asked to view his date’s Spotify account to see if they’re compatible. He even goes as far as creating a Spotify Blend to determine compatibility. It’s a fun and quick way to share music and measure compatibility (musical compatibility anyways).

Talking about music and your desire to see live shows is an easy way to invite her in. If you choose to answer a prompt by making your music preferences known feel free to cast a wide net by listing various musicians.

6) The Travel Bug

Something about nearly dying during the pandemic has just made everyone want to travel. People are done with surviving and want to live out their days like Anthony Bourdain.

Talk about your travel bug, all the places you’ve been and want to go, and invite her to join you.

This is also a great way of saying, I have a solid job and can support a family, without saying it explicitly. Too many guys want to flash their cash or brag about how much they make. Yet there are other ways of saying that you’re wealthy without saying, I make $200,000 a year.

7) Taking Things Slow

She wants to know what life with you would look like — so tell her.

How do you intend to spend your Sundays?

How will you unwind after work?

What music will you listen to as you two eat dinner together?

Be as detailed and granular as possible when filling out your a non-negotiable Bumble Prompt.

8) Get Political

a non-negotiable bumble

Some people would say not to talk religion or politics on a first date — I disagree.

In fact, it’s best to let your politics be known before the first date.

Nowadays, Democrats and Republicans don’t date each other.

They’re even more incompatible than Sox and Yankee fans.

Use these Bumble Prompts as filters. Filters that you can use to repel some while attracting others.

Also keep in mind that while most of these prompt response examples have been written in jest, you can 100% write about serious non-negotiables you have – just try to be creative when writing about them.

9) Drammmaaa

a non-negotiable bumble

Don’t hold back who you are.

Show her your true colors now so that you’re attracting compatible women.

If you’re more into futbol than football, vegan wings instead of meat wings, and prefer Bob Dylan to his many covers it’s best to tell her now.

10) Que Dices Chica?

a non-negotiable bumble

Flex your polyglot skills in a humble way by talking about the way you want to raise your children.

By even mentioning children you’re signaling that you want a serious relationship.

This will turn some on while others off, and that’s perfectly fine.

Your goal here isn’t to attract every woman on Bumble, but only those you can realistically have a relationship with.

Next Steps

Now that you have some prompt response examples to inspire you it’s time to get writing.

Take your time and pick a few Bumble Prompts to respond to. Create drafts, run them by friends, and always be sure to put your personality on full display.

Make sure each of your prompts behaves differently. You don’t want three overly serious prompts or three purely humorous prompt responses.

Once you have your responses picked out it’s time to choose quality pictures for your profile.

While Bumble is one of the least superficial dating apps on the market it still places a special emphasis on photos.

Take your time shooting and choosing HD photos that clearly show her what you look like as well as your many hobbies and passions.

After you’ve completed your profile and are scoring matches it’s time to get your chat on.

This is the most difficult part. Guys just have no idea how to have a quality conversation online that leads to a date IRL.

In our program, Dating Decoded we’ll show men not only how to create the perfect profile but how to communicate with women online in a way that leads to a first date.

Once you start scoring dates we’ll help you manage all these dates and ensure that your dates are successful.

Our program is immersive, in-depth, and takes commitment – but don’t worry. You’ll have a team of coaches and fellow students to support and guide you along the way.

Soon enough you’ll be going on 10 dates a month just like our student Naeem.
