I was a preacher’s kid and proud purity ring wearer and practiced a faith that was very important and very personal to me. Until I moved to New York in my early twenties to become an actor (instead of a wife, like I was supposed to) and my entire identity imploded thanks to Tinder and my Jewish roommate.
Since 2015, my blog has centered around helping readers navigate dating, sex, and faith post-purity culture. I consider myself a civilian expert on this topic, as I had to learn to navigate all of that in the city that never sleeps (and never stops sleeping around).
My writing has gone on to a mass thousands of readers, I’ve been featured across multiple media platforms, have been published with a book by the same title (God, Sex, and Rich People: A Recovering Evangelical Testimony), as well as wrote, directed, executive produced the proof of concept for the GSRP TV Show (you can watch that here).
