When we look at the 50-59-year-old age bracket we see that there are 18 more single women per 1000 singles.

WalletHub’s comprehensive study on the best cities for singles in 2019 rated LA 7th out of 180 cities. Each city was ranked based on their score in three categories. That category LA ranked highest in was “dating opportunities.” This category took into account the city’s gender balance, single population, online dating opportunities, and the share of adults that own smartphones. LA also ranked 14 in the “fun & recreation” category. This category took into account the city’s number of attractions, restaurants per capita, and nightlife options per capita among other factors.
