Why It Is Crucial to Take a Vacation This Year

My boyfriend and I just got back from a luxurious and relaxing week in beautiful Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.

It was an unbelievable tropical vacation and a much needed break from reality.

Not only was the experience rejuvenating, it was also very beneficial for us to step outside of our day-to-day paradigm, and see how a different culture lives.

Everyone in Mexico seemed relaxed, happy, and welcoming. Neither of us felt the push to be hyper-efficient or technologically plugged-in.

It was all about the experience and really enjoying the process.

Stepping outside of the normal routine raised our awareness about the people we are in our ordinary environment, that is, in San Francisco.

It alerted us to the cultural norms that stress us out and hold us back from being truly happy.
